Queensland border to remain shut to NSW until end of January
Queensland Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk has confirmed travellers from the Greater Sydney region will not be able to enter her state until the end of the month, and the same could apply for Victorians if the COVID-19 situation worsens.
Unfortunately those wishing to travel from the Greater Sydney region to Queensland will have to put their plans on hold until at least the end of January.
QLD Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk announced in a press conference on Thursday that the current border restrictions will not be re-reviewed until the end of January.
“I know this is very disappointing for people during this time,” Ms Palaszczuk explained.
“But we are concerned still about Greater Sydney.”
